The Water Skiing Frog.

A small story for small people

This story is dedicated to bath time, when
imagination can run riot and the water
forms a storm that soaks the story teller!
So children, this is how it began…….
Just outside a small village in Scotland there
is a golf course. Well there are a lot of golf
courses in Scotland, that’s what makes it so
green. On this course there is a pond and in
the pond a family of frogs live. The pond is
halfway along one of the fairways (that’s the
field where the golf ball is hit to start the game)
and the good golfers can hit the ball over the
pond. But there are a lot who can’t. The pond
is just too deep for the golfers to find the ball
and that is how our story came to be.
The family of frogs had lived in the pond for a
long time.

Mother and Father had brought up their children
without any problem until the arrival of McTavish.
He was no problem until he reached the age where
he could wander around the pond on his own. Father
said that McTavish was a daydreamer. Mother said
that he would grow out of it, whatever that meant.
McTavish did not understand what day dreaming
was but he spent a lot of time thinking about it.
